Marcia grew up between her family's farm and general store in Kintore, Ontario. You could always find her at her dad's side, where she developed a curiosity for business even before she understood it. That curiosity stuck with her through a career building technology — until she went all in and spent eight years running a distribution business herself, learning the grocery supply chain from the receiving door in: how orders actually get placed, what goes wrong when they don't, and how much of an owner's week disappears into paperwork nobody sees.

Purchs is her third startup — built from day one with stores like her parents' in mind, and driven by her refusal to accept that grocery had to run this way. It's the work of someone who's staked her career on building something that actually matters to the people who run these businesses — and she leads it with the same determination and commitment that got her here.
